I have a request just in from a publisher to use an image in a textbook. Once upon a time such uses were for one edition only and also back in the day one could charge for different formats. The agreement states:
"All Editions/Unlimited Quantity
All Languages and All Media”
I expect to give in on the all languages and all media component. Is it now standard practice to agree to “all editions” and “unlimited quantity” as well for a one-time flat fee?
