The CHIME Studio (Chicago Integrated Media Experimental Studio) at the University of Chicago will be hosting CIRCULATIONS, a symposium on live audio feedback in art, February 28-29, 2020. The symposium will include a number of performances and sound installations, as well paper sessions and keynote speaker Dr. Cathy van Eck, professor at the University of the Arts in Bern, Switzerland. We welcome paper proposals relating to the field of audio feedback, especially pertaining to its technical, aesthetic, historical, and pedagogical aspects. Presenters will have up to 30 minutes followed by 10 minutes of questions.
