ITS has received a notice that over 1,650 UNO and UNL accounts are vulnerable to a compromise due to the chegg.com password database being exposed.  Your account was one of those accounts whose password and email account was posted on the Internet.  In the interest of stopping hackers from accessing your account, your password will be reset and anyone logged into your account will be logged out of your account.  Once your account's password is reset, you can go to https://trueyou.nebraska.edu to change your password to a new password that has not been utilized before.  In addition, if you used the old password on ANY other account, regardless if it is a university account, the password should be changed on those accounts as well.
