Music and Spirit: an UnConference
May 8 & 9, 2020
Follen Church, 755 Massachusetts Avenue, Lexington, MA 02420

A unique forum, co-sponsored by the Greater Boston Center for Contemplative Mind in Music (John Morrison, founding director) and Follen Church (Vivian Montgomery, Director of Music). This two-day gathering will bring together people who do work in music that is in service to the human spirit, creating a space where people can share what they do and learn from each others’ endeavors.

Sessions will include performances, talks, demonstrations, roundtables, and experiences, exploring such areas as healing, therapy, composition, improvisation, social and environmental justice, performance, musical analysis, worship, body mapping, deep listening, transformation, the Vedic Kirtan tradition, and the philosophical concept of Eudaimonia.
