Ohhhhhh, wow.. Thank you very much! Very clever idea. I would not have thought of that. The fellow at B&H that I spoke to, also recommended LaCie, and G-Technology. I have a G-Technology and a WD from years ago, they are still going (so far). Do you think the SSDs have greater longevity? less moving parts? I have diskcatalogmaker! bought some while ago. I really has saved time in searching files. Thanks for the reminder. I am so eager to clear out the archives, that I'm like a badger digging through them.
