The University of California, Berkeley, seeks a collaborative leader, accomplished scholar, and persuasive advocate to serve as the next Dean of the Arts & Humanities Division.
Applicants must have earned a terminal degree in a discipline within the arts or humanities and a record of scholarship or creative achievement that merits a tenured appointment at the rank of full professor. Candidates will have experience as an academic leader, a record of advancing institutional equity, diversity, and inclusion, and experience or potential for strength with alumni and donor relations. An understanding of the mission of a public university and a record of consensus building are essential.
