I find substantial lag time when I’m using 2 cameras. If I use my camera as my sole camera, working from the Zoom app on the camera, I have no delay. Are you using Zoom?Is there a lag in video? Audio? Both?Is anyone else in your house using the Internet while you are attempting to use it? Do you have surveillance cameras, or other things like Alexa that are using bandwidth? If you are having audio lag, go into Zoom settings and disable background noise suppression. You might also try using a mic other than the mic on the webcam. Go into your Zoom options, and you can select the camera and audio sources.I have 6mbps, which is abominably SLOW. I can use ONE camera and external mics (2 of them) on a laptop connected with wifi - with no lag. However, when I try to use a 2nd camera via my iPhone and EpocCam, I experience lag that is so extreme it is unusable. I am in the process of trying to get my internet upgraded to Comcast… but I‘m rural, and have slow DSL at the moment. Satellite is unreliable and expensive. Finally Comcast has agreed to run lines down my private drive… but I’ll believe it when it happens.Hope this helps a little.KOn Dec 11, 2020, at 7:04 AM, Dorie Petrochko <[log in to unmask]> wrote:I think the problem is with my internet connection. It is fairly weak and we need to change it up. But I can use my I phone now as a doc cam.--Hi Dorie.I’m so sorry to hear that. I have had none of those issues. The camera is speedy, zooms beautifully, and has very good resolution. I have absolutely no negative things to say.I’m wondering if it has to do with the connection or computer. I’m on a 27” iMac running High Sierra or Mohave.Marj,I also bought the Ipevo V4K and it has a lot of lag and I can't seem to get it to work fast enoughto demonstrate effectively. Did you have this problem?DorieDorie PetrochkoSenior Instructor-Natural Science Illustration ProgramYale Peabody Museum of Natural HistoryHi Marlene.I have had GREAT success using the plug and play IPEVO V4K. This is the web camera Loe Ruttan recommended and demoed early in the COVID months. It’s an amazing little tool and incredibly easy to use. Great relolution, etcI paid $99 from Ipevo.com. Do not order from Amazon as some sellers are trying to sell the Lis doc camera for several hundred dollars!!

All advice much appreciated! Thanks and stay safe,Marlene--Marlene Hill Donnelly
