7 PM Welcome & Introductory Remarks by Leah Batstone, Creative Director of UCMF
7:15PM Opening concert
The opening concert will feature music composed since 2000, including works by the youngest generation and by established Ukrainian composers.

Saturday, March 6: The Kyiv Avant-Garde
7:30 PM Pre-Concert Talk by Peter Schmelz (Arizona State University, Tempe)
8:00 PM Concert, streamed from Kaufman Music Center, Merkin Hall
The second concert presents works by leading unofficial composers from Kyiv, composed in the 1960s and 1970s.

Sunday, March 7: Electroacoustic Voices
2:30 PM Pre-Concert Talk by Alla Zahaykevych (National Music Academy of Ukraine)
3:00 PM Concert, streamed from DiMenna Center, Cary Hall
This concert will present electroacoustic music across generations, from pioneering works of the 1960s to the most recent experiments in a variety of digital sonic media.
