With apologies for cross-posting, we are pleased to announce the 1st online symposium of the ICTM Study Group on Global History of Music. Please hold the dates!

13-14th May 2021

This will be hosted by the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Chengdu, China, with the programme featuring two keynote presentations, by Edwin Seroussi (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem) on "Israel Diasporas and Global Musical Networks: Jewish Perspectives”; and Tan Sooi Beng (Universiti Sains Malaysia Mobile Performers) on "Multiple Centres, Modern Sounds: An Alternative History of Global Musical Contact”.

You are very welcome and encouraged to attend our sessions – the draft programme is available at https://ictmusic.org/group/global-history-music and more information will follow.
