Non-NU Email
I went through old artwork lately but did sort of a ceremonial burning and recalled all the stories that went with the jobs, people ... or even the species. My first freelance job was, among other things, a Mola mola, that to this day, when I see one I feel fondly toward it. So that was sort of fun and sort of honored my hard work.

I have always saved everything, but am in the process of relocating and downsizing, so I’m filling many recycling bins with those files, along with teaching materials, physical handouts, etc. I’ll still keep too much….

Hi - Do any of you routinely save your preparatory sketches, layouts, tracings & transfers, etc.? I've done that forever and it's sort of built up to a mad collection. I've always kept a few in case I do a class/workshop where showing the preliminary steps is informative to students, but I don't think i need to keep EVERYTHING...

I am trying to gradually pare down my stacks-o-art-stuff, so eventually Jamie doesn't have to wade through a mountain of collected art flotsam and jetsam to get to what might be worthwhile stuff.
